About Us
Ascension St. John's Sportsplex is a fast-paced, energetic environment serving athletes, families, and spectators throughout the week. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Barback to support our bartending staff and help deliver a great guest experience during games, tournaments, and private events.
Responsibilities
- Restock beer, liquor, mixers, and bar supplies throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas (sanitizing surfaces, organizing products, removing trash)
- Replenish ice, cups, garnishes, and inventory as needed
- Assist bartenders with prep, setup, and breakdown before and after shifts
- Help ensure compliance with safety alcohol service policies
- Deliver quick, accurate support during high-volume periods
- Communicate inventory shortages to management
Qualifications
- Previous barback or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (kegs, cases, ice bins)
- Strong work ethic and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Weekend availability required; event schedules may vary
