This role ensures that new companies are integrated with urgency, alignment, and stability in the first 100 days, creating a consistent operating model that supports long-term growth and performance.
Primary Duties:
• Serve as the day-to-day Integration Lead from LOI through close, Day 1 readiness, the first 100 days, and postclose stabilization
• Lead integration planning and execution across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, Safety, Sales, and other functional partners
• Build and manage full integration plans, workback schedules, checklists, risks, dependencies, communication flows, and milestone tracking
• Deliver Day 1 execution and ensure operational continuity, system access, employee onboarding, and alignment to company standards
• Track and report synergy expectations and operational efficiency opportunities with accuracy and urgency
• Prepare concise executive summaries, dashboards, and integration reporting for leadership and private equity sponsors
• Support cultural alignment and employee transition using a people-centered, servant leadership approach rooted in trust and respect
• Identify gaps, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities to strengthen ongoing integration effectiveness
• Develop integration playbooks, templates, scalable tools, and contribute to building a lightweight Integration Management Office (“IMO”)
• Partner with business units to ensure integration activities align to the company's strategy, culture, safety standards, and operational model
• Resolve challenges with grit, tenacity, innovation, and resourcefulness while maintaining positive energy and a calm presence
Educational/Experience Level:
• Experience in construction, field services, industrial services, or other multi-site operational businesses preferred
• Exposure to integration playbooks, PMO or IMO frameworks, synergy tracking, and change management preferred
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability preferred
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 7 to 12 years in M&A integration, corporate development, consulting, operations, finance, or program and project management
• Experience managing multiple workstreams with strong leadership, ownership, and accountability • Background in private equity, high-growth, or multi-site operational environments
• Strong communication skills, relationship building grounded in trust, and the ability to influence across functions
• Comfort working in fast-change, high-expectation environments that require urgency, precision, and disciplined execution
Travel Requirement:
• This role requires regular travel to integration sites and newly acquired companies. Travel is estimated at 30- 40%, with peak periods around deal close, Day 1 execution, and early integration stabilization.
