Southern Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee plumbing operations on multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate field operations, manage subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontracted plumbing crews
- Oversee underground rough-in installations and verify all measurements for accuracy
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation using web-based software
- Track, receive, and manage materials through web-based inventory systems
- Forecast material needs 2–3 weeks in advance to maintain production schedules
- Conduct and participate in daily and weekly jobsite coordination meetings
- Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks while promoting a safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, company standards, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve field issues
- Utilize computer-based project management and reporting software daily
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Superintendent
- Experience supervising plumbing subcontractors on multi-family construction projects
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and construction practices
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
- Experience with Raken or comparable field reporting software
- Knowledge of total station layout, underground plumbing, sleeve layout, and top-out operations
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency is required
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- OSHA 30 Certification (Required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
