Ascension Property Services is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused Benefits & Leave Administrator to support employee benefits administration, leave management, and HR systems operations across a growing family of specialty trade companies.
This role serves as the primary administrator for employee benefit programs and leave of absence processes across multiple operating companies and seven states. The Benefits & Leave Administrator partners closely with the Company's benefits broker, payroll team, HR leaders, and employees to ensure the accurate administration of benefit plans, leave programs, and related HR processes.
The ideal candidate enjoys owning the details, solving employee benefit and leave-related challenges, leveraging technology to improve processes, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the employee lifecycle. This individual will also serve as the internal subject matter expert for benefits administration within ADP Workforce Now and play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
This role may be performed remotely; however, candidates within commuting distance of the Brentwood, Tennessee headquarters may have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule. Travel up to 20% may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Benefits Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for employee benefit programs across Ascension Property Services and its family of operating companies
- Partner with the Company's benefits broker to coordinate employee enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment activities
- Assist employees with benefit questions and facilitate issue resolution with insurance carriers, vendors, and broker partners
- Audit benefit eligibility, enrollments, payroll deductions, and system data to ensure accuracy
- Support employee benefit communications, educational materials, and enrollment resources
- Assist with benefit transitions related to acquisitions, integrations, and organizational changes.
Leave Administration
- Coordinate and administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, personal leaves of absence, and other leave programs
- Manage leave documentation, medical certifications, interactive process documentation, leave tracking, and return-to-work activities
- Partner with HR leadership to support accommodation reviews and leave-related compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations
- Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding leave policies and procedures
HRIS & ADP Workforce Now Administration
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for benefits administration functionality within ADP Workforce Now
- Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, deduction mappings, workflows, and employee self-service functionality
- Audit payroll integrations and benefit deductions to ensure accurate administration and reporting
- Partner with Payroll and HR teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements that improve efficiency and employee experience
Employee Support & HR Operations
- Support onboarding and orientation activities related to employee benefits and leave programs
- Assist with employee communications, employee experience initiatives, and HR operational projects
- Develop reports, audits, and metrics related to benefits participation, leave activity, compliance, and system accuracy
- Support acquisitions, integrations, and benefits transitions as needed
- Maintain confidential employee information and records with a high degree of professionalism and discretion

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in benefits administration, leave administration, or HR operations
- Working knowledge of employee benefits administration, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and leave management practices
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations
- Experience utilizing HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent employee service, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related business applications
- Advanced experience administering benefits within ADP Workforce Now
- Experience supporting organizations with multiple operating companies, locations, or business units
- Experience supporting acquisitions, employee integrations, or organizational transitions.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, or other relevant HR certifications
- Experience supporting onboarding, orientation, employee engagement, or employee experience initiatives
- Prior experience partnering with external benefits brokers and insurance carriers
