How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Operate vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and reporting accidents or unusual situations immediately.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and safe use of mobility devices, including wheelchair lifts and tie-downs.
- Maintain and inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
- Manage schedules, adapt to changes, and determine the safest, most efficient transportation routes.
- Maintain accurate logs and support daily transportation department activities as needed.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred.
- Chauffeur preferred.
- Drivers License specializing in Commercial preferred.
- Heart Saver AED preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
