Our client, a fast-growing national technology and logistics company, is seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Human Resources to lead and scale all aspects of their human capital function. With operations in multiple U.S. markets, this organization is committed to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence across all departments.
The VP of HR will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy to support business growth, enhance organizational performance, and cultivate a strong employee culture. This executive role will oversee talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and workforce planning. The position will report to the CAO.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and support company culture.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all matters related to human capital.

Lead organizational development initiatives including succession planning and change management.

Talent Acquisition & Development

Oversee recruitment processes across multiple markets for both field and corporate positions.

Implement training programs, leadership development, and performance management systems.

Promote a culture of accountability, professional growth, and employee engagement.

Employee Relations & Culture

Foster a positive work environment through strong communication and team support structures.

Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and resolution strategies in compliance with labor regulations.

Support internal communication efforts and initiatives that reinforce company values.

HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure HR policies and practices comply with all local, state, and federal employment laws.

Oversee HR systems, payroll processes, and benefit programs.

Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or other multi-site environments

Strong command of employment law and compliance, including labor relations and HR policy development

Proven success in building scalable HR infrastructure during periods of growth

Experience implementing HR technology platforms and driving process improvements

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus
