DePaul Community Services of New Orleans operates multiple Federally Qualified Health Centers in the Greater New Orleans area. DCSNO is committed to improving the health status of communities and continues a long tradition of health ministry. DCSNO is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide care in our outpatient clinics. The Nurse Practitioner operates as part of a team with other clinic providers and support staff in accordance with the scope of DCSNO operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides medical services to patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
- Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases
- Prescribe pharmacologic treatments
- Serve as health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate
- Must have experience working with diverse population
- Must be a critical thinker with the ability to problem solve
- Must have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be LA licensed NP in good standing with the State of Louisiana
- Three – five years of NP pediatric experience preferred
Salary : $98,263 - $139,551
