What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at Ascension Center for Recovery?
Overview
The Administrator oversees all departments of Ascension Center for Recovery. This includes, but is not limited to, Human Resources, Finance, Clinical, Medical, House Management, Operations/facility management, Logistics, kitchen management, compliance, safety, renovations, and information technology. Ensures all aspects of the organization are aligned with the strategic plan. Provides leadership and guidance for directors, managers and employees of our facility. Oversees the day-to-day management and operation of the organization.
Duties
- Oversee Finance, Clinical, Medical, House Management, logistics, kitchen management, facility maintenance and renovation, and information technology.
- Facilitate daily Leadership meetings, staff and organizational meetings.
- Active in accounts payable and ability to provide a full accounting of expenses
- · Maintain a thorough working knowledge of OSHA safety, AODE, building codes, and CARF licensing requirements and regulations.
- · Lead efforts in property acquisitions and contract negotiations.
- · Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, control costs, and stay current in operational best practices.
- · Develop and implement systems for reporting and measurement as supported by data.
- · Vendor and contractor management
- · Lead organic growth efforts – internally and externally to help develop potential revenue streams
- · Intervenes and/or responds to critical incidents and emergency situations.
- · Assists in developing and implementing policies, procedures and protocols for departments.
- Assist the operations manager in understanding schematic and blueprints and follow the construction of new projects, understanding deed restrictions, elevations, and zoning restrictions.
- Breakdown the profit & loss statement and job costing
- Assist the operations manager in performing walk-throughs of facilities to inspect the structural and cosmetic needs
- Search for needed properties, inspect layout and create a punch list for the renovation team
Qualifications
- Prefer a Master’s Degree with 3 years’ experience, but will accept a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience working in a leadership position in a substance use and mental health treatment setting.
- Understanding budget management, bookkeeping, administrative services.
- Understanding medical needs related to the client population served.
- Excellent computer skills that include knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written communication
- Working knowledge of insurance policies, including worker’s comp
- Understanding of Medicaid insurance billing.
- Valid Kentucky Driver’s License.
- Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
- Background in social work or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
