Currently, we are seeking Residential Advisors/ BHT's for the following:
Full time Men's Residential M-F 3p-11p and 11p-7a
Part Time Weekends (Men's Residential, Women's Residential, Detox)
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out.
- Answering multi-line phones and responding to requests immediately.
- Able to understand and react to emergencies.
- Accurately maintain daily logs, records and forms.
- Ensure residents are supervised at all times by monitoring their whereabouts.
- Overseeing residents' well-being within bedroom spaces/overnight with 1 hour bed checks.
- Maintaining harmony by redirecting behaviors.
- Supervising individual needs including phone calls, laundry, and meals.
- Maintaining order and cleanliness by overseeing chores.
- Ensuring program rules and procedures are consistently applied.
- Respectfully reinforcing socially acceptable behaviors (i.e. manners, eating habits, safety, bully-free),
- Modeling and promoting self-esteem, healthy boundaries, good hygiene, and appropriate appearance.
- Teaching thoughtful decision-making and encouraging positive coping skills.
- Maintaining complete confidentiality for every resident, and modeling professionalism in all interactions. Protecting patients’ rights through strong adherence of HIPPA regulations
- Conducting house/room inspections, and (limited) body checks to secure potentially hazardous materials.
- Conducting drug screens.
- Monitoring interactions between residents.
- Overseeing and logging medications for individual residents.
- Completing Shift Notes
- Notifying the House Supervisor of all medical concerns, incidents, and other emergencies.
