Trade Associate - Series 7 Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist traders with the execution and allocation of fixed income trades, including corporates, governments, munis, and structured products.
• Monitor market activity, pricing movements, and order flow to support real-time trading decisions.
• Prepare trade tickets, confirm allocations, and ensure accurate entry into order management systems.
• Coordinate with operations, compliance, and counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure timely settlement.
• Generate and maintain daily trading reports, P&L summaries, and position reconciliations.
• Support pre-trade research by gathering market data, analyzing yields, spreads, and liquidity metrics.
• Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and FINRA guidelines.
• Provide administrative support to senior traders and contribute to overall desk efficiency.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 license required; Series 63/66 a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 1 years of experience in fixed income, trading support, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of bond math, yield curves, and market terminology.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg or similar trading platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask under pressure.
