A global leader in aircraft inventory support is seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager to oversee and elevate all procurement operations. This 100% on-site role in Doral requires a skilled leader with strong industry knowledge to manage a team, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure seamless inventory operations across a high-growth organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing procurement team
- Manage daily purchasing activities including requisitions, POs, and inventory control
- Develop sourcing strategies for OEM and rotable aircraft parts
- Define stock levels and restocking strategies to ensure consistent supply
- Identify cost-saving opportunities such as volume rebates and supplier discounts
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain the Approved Supplier List
- Drive KPI development, ERP system implementation, and process improvements
- Stay ahead of market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 7 years of purchasing/procurement experience, with 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in aviation or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of rotable/expendable parts and FAA procurement regulations
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to interpret technical documents (IPC, SB, AD, SIL)
- A strategic mindset with excellent leadership and organizational abilities
