About the Opportunity
A well-established international financial institution is seeking a Personal Banking Officer to support high-net-worth and commercial banking clients while delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong regulatory compliance standards.
This role combines relationship management, client service, account administration, documentation oversight, and compliance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong banking operations knowledge, experience supporting client portfolios, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with assigned banking clients.
- Assist clients with account-related inquiries, service requests, and documentation needs.
- Support new account openings and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate periodic account reviews and due diligence updates.
- Prepare and process documentation related to deposits, lending products, and account maintenance activities.
- Monitor documentation exceptions and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records and interaction notes.
- Assist with KYC, CIP, CDD, and ongoing due diligence requirements.
- Respond to compliance-related inquiries and account monitoring requests.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, banking regulations, and AML requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve client service processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of personal banking, private banking, or client service experience within a financial institution.
- 3 years of KYC, AML, compliance, or account onboarding experience.
- Strong understanding of banking documentation and account maintenance processes.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 β $80,000 annually, plus potential bonus and benefits.
