What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist position at Ascendo Resources?
A well-established company in the construction services industry is looking for a B2B Collections Specialist to join their AR team, based out of their NJ office.
What you'll do:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 accounts, primarily NJ-focused with some multi-region customers
- Handle high-volume daily communication with customers via phone and email
- Work closely with the sales team on customer disputes, pulling information and context to resolve issues
- Create reports in Excel, including DSO and AR aging reports
- Participate in weekly sales team meetings, helping build a culture of cross-functional collaboration
What you'll need:
- High-volume B2B collections experience, ideally managing a similar-sized portfolio
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
