Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Hybrid – Nashville/Antioch, TN
Salary: $21–$22 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role based in the Nashville/Antioch area. This position plays a key role in supporting our collections and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled in communication, with a strong grasp of collections and business-to-business customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support collection efforts in collaboration with team members and leadership.
- Review monthly accounts receivable reports and target overdue invoices.
- Conduct outbound communications (calls, emails, faxes, collection letters) to customers and internal departments.
- Assist leadership with inbound communication needs.
- Manage external mailings and overnight packages from Collections staff.
- Monitor and manage inbound/outbound emails from shared group inboxes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 year of relevant experience in accounts receivable or collections
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of business-to-business collections experience
