Breast Imaging Radiologist

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms (tomosynthesis)
- Perform and interpret breast ultrasounds, including diagnostic and screening studies
- Interpret breast MRIs and correlate findings with other imaging modalities
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:
• Stereotactic biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• MRI-guided biopsies
- Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other providers
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and communication of results
- Contribute to practice quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging from an ACGME-accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging and interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a high-volume breast center or outpatient imaging setting
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Schedule
