About the Role:
Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, and network architecture, along with the ability to assess and optimize existing network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
- Develop and document network architecture and design standards
- Perform assessments of existing network environments to identify performance and capacity gaps
- Configure and program routers and switches
- Establish and manage network security, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Implement and support connectivity and access controls
- Provide recommendations to optimize network performance and scalability
- Test, tune, and maintain security devices and network systems
- Manage network services from planning through implementation
- Support data and voice communication technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in network engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching
- Solid knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and infrastructure
- Experience with load balancers (F5, A10).
- Experience with firewalls and network security technologies.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and design
- Experience assessing and optimizing enterprise network environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, etc.)
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$120,000-130,000 annually]/[$60.00-70.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
