What are the responsibilities and job description for the Complex Commercial Litigation Associate position at Ascendion?
We are partnering with a growing, a full-service, award winning law firm in Florida. They are currently seeking Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone with 2 years of experience, ideally with prior Corporate Defense work.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of commercial litigation experience
- Prior experience in one of these areas; Healthcare, Class Actions, Sports/Entertainment, Labor & Employment
- JD active bar in Florida
- Excellent law school credentials, including law review
- Prior judicial clerk experience desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication preferred
Responsibility:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and corporate governance issues
- Manage cases from inception through trial, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes in business disputes
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
The annual salary for this position is between 150k-250k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
