On behalf of a global fast growing food retail and services client, we are searching for a VP of Finance for USA & Canada to be based in LA. The VP Finance oversees the financial strategy and health of the organization in the US and Canada. This position will be leading the entire financial spectrum, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards of a multi-brand group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial strategy and planning: Driving profitability and growth through insightful financial analysis, optimizing capital allocation, overseeing and evolving Financial analytics systems, and managing risks.
- Financial reporting and compliance
- Provides financial advisory to the business unit teams to level up the business and improve financial performance
CRITERIA:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance, post graduate degree a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in finance leadership roles within consumer /FMCG / CPG/ QSR / Food industry.
- Good Business Acumen, strong commercial finance partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis; Policy Evaluation; Relationship Management.
- Proven experience leading a global team and ability to influence cross functional initiatives.
- Experience in Financial systems, BI and Data analytics tools, and ability to guide overall data infrastructure and systems. (SAP)
- Strong knowledge of North America’s financial planning standards and systems and extensive knowledge and understanding of North America’s accounting standards.
