What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Coordinator position at Ascend Talent Solutions?
The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with the office and facilities management team to ensure that the office is inspected for safety and cleanliness regularly to deliver an outstanding experience to all employees. The Facilities Coordinator will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies throughout the site - i.e. common space, conference rooms, supply closets management. Additional Responsibilities
- :Inspect the office space - identifying facility, janitorial, and safety issues
- .Build and assemble desks, pedestal filing cabinets, and chairs
- .Manage furniture keys post assembly
- .Perform minor furniture repairs
- .Install risers for multiple monitors and under desk keyboard trays
- .Manage storage spaces - install shelving units, maintain organization of supplies and equipment
- .Log and manage work orders for the facility
- .Set up conference rooms based on client requests
- .Move tables and chairs to prepare for different conference room set ups
- .Clean conference rooms before and after use - wiping down tables, chairs, and glass doors; removing unused items; and setting furniture to original condition
- .Clean offices that are designated for visiting team members - wiping down surfaces, arranging furniture, entering work orders for required additional work
- .Schedule and manage vendors when they come in to do work
- .Coordinate moves - pack boxes with employee desk belongings, label, and move to destination
- .Assist employees with moves in the office - getting boxes for the employee to pack up and moving the box to new desk
- .Coordinate moves with MAC manager and moving company
- .Manage onsite locker assignments

Requirement
- s:2 years of maintenance tech experience in a professional office environmen
- t.Ability to use power tools and build office furnitur
- e.Ability to read manuals, instructions, safety rules, drawings, diagrams and follow instructions in the use and maintenance of tools and equipmen
