With excellent analytical skills, the primary responsibility of the Commercial Real Estate Analyst will be monitoring trends in the marketplace and their impact on expansion for Fortune 500 companies in the Bay Area. The primary responsibility of the Commercial Real Estate Analyst will be to develop and use forecast models to predict future growth and their impact on real estate expansion plans. Along with strategic planning team members and client input, the Commercial Real Estate Analyst will develop a financial model for budgeting and development purposes. Additional responsibilities for the Commercial Real Estate Analyst include the following:
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with the Finance and Strategic Planning teams to create five year business plans that include operating and capital budgets, volume projections, and financial and strategic implications.
- Develop financial models to predict future growth for a variety of strategic initiatives.
- Proficiently access, utilize and evaluate internal and external data to determine strategic plan inputs and competitiveness indicators in the marketplace.
- Monitor and maintain ongoing review of market dynamics, new programs, business development initiatives, and revenue trends. Evaluate impact on expansion plans.
- Identify and recommend strategies to achieve growth in volume and quality and reduction of expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial and benchmarking reports for internal and external purposes.
- Monitor and ensure proper accounting of both revenue and expenses.
Position Requirements
- 5 years of previous Financial Analyst experience specifically with developing budgets and strategic forecasts.
- Proficient in developing long term business plans and strategy and resolving complex issues.
- Extensive knowledge of forecasting and building hypothetical budgeting models using sophisticated conceptual, analytical and statistical skills.
- Ability to write and develop business plans, proposals, and financial analysis reports for senior management review.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Argus, and other financial systems.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and related experience.
