Responsibilities:
As a Machine Operator you will set up, adjust and monitor machines according to provided specifications.
Your keen attention to detail will help you identify problems, troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance to keep machines running efficiently and producing products that meet the highest quality standards.
Core Skills/Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machines and perform minor repairs when needed
Able to make basic math computations to perform role (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, read ruler, read measures, calculate measurements)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess good interpersonal communication skills
Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
Able to work in a repetitive, fast paced environment
Able to sit or stand at a machine for long periods of time
Must be dependable
Machining experience not necessary just an interest in engineering/machining and not afraid to learn and work hard. Willing to train the right candidate.
