High School Math Tutor (Part-Time / Flexible Hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate High School Math Tutor to help students master key math concepts across multiple levels including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
If you enjoy explaining math in a way that makes it click for students and want flexible, meaningful work, this position is a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions in high school math subjects (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus).
• Break down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps.
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and study strategies.
• Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and academic goals.
• Track progress and communicate results with students and parents.
• Help students prepare for SAT/ACT standardized tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or currently enrolled) in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level would be helpful.
• Strong knowledge of the high school math curriculum, including advanced topics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Patient, dependable, and encouraging teaching style.
• Experience with whiteboards and leading group discussions.
• Flexible schedule with afternoons, evenings, and weekends available.
• Work with motivated students in a supportive, goal-oriented environment.
