This position will oversee, plan, and execute complex, large-scale projects in the Healthcare Payer, PBM, and pharmaceutical markets. From inception to closure, the Senior PM will ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role involves significant leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage and mentor other employees and cross-functional teams.
This role will be hybrid, based at our AscellaHealth headquarters in Berwyn, PA and will be required in the office three days a week (Tues, Weds, Thurs). Exceptional candidates may be considered for more remote flexibility.

What the position will be doing
- Lead end-to-end project execution across the entire project life cycle (ideation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing).
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables, and identify necessary resources.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and actively address issues and obstacles as they arise to keep the project on track.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, providing regular project status updates, reports, and managing expectations effectively.
- Manage team communications, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Asana, Azure DevOps) to maintain detailed project plans and hold stakeholders accountable.
- Collaborate with IT and all other dependency teams (Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure all work streams are represented and completed within expected timeframes.
- Support resource allocation and workload balancing across scrum and product/solutions team.
- Contribute to organizational culture as a coach and leader who develops talent, not just a manager of tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
- 10 or more years of progressive experience in project management, Agile program management, or related roles.
- Strong background in payer, PBM, and pharmaceutical markets.
- Experience in business analytics and product design.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills; able to balance empathy with accountability.
- Experience with Asana/Azure DevOps (openness to new tools required).
- PMP or Agile certifications preferred but not required.
- Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
