ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in precision? Join our team in a fast-paced metal shop environment where quality is everything. As a Quality Control team member, you’ll be on the floor inspecting metal parts during production, using tools like calipers, measuring tape, angle finders, and levels to ensure everything is built to spec. You’ll read and interpret manufacturing drawings, catch issues early, and help document and resolve any non-conformances. If you like working with your hands, spotting the details others miss, and being part of building high-quality products, this role is for you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform In-Process quality control inspections.
- Proficient with inspection hand tools: calipers, measuring tape, angle finders, and levels.
- Read, and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Read and adhere to quality control procedures and standards.
- Generate non-conformance reports.
- NCR resolution.
- Work Schedule - Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ISO or equivalent quality standards preferred.
- Experience in similar manufacturing industry preferred, but not required, due to on-the-job training.
