Total Care Auto Gap Claims Specialist:Primary Responsibilities:
The Gap Claims Specialist is expected to
- Provide claims support to customers.
- Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
- Seek ways to provide superior support to customers and team members.
Primary Duties:
- Process Gap, Theft (VTR/VTA) and Lease Wear & Tear (LWT) Claims in a timely manner per policies
- Works the Recovery Process to ensure that insurance companies are paying correctly.
- Communicate policy requirements and explain the process per the contract with the customer.
- Log all customer communications.
- Perform other projects and tasks requested.
- Operate with integrity.
- Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
- Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
- Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe
- Communicate and resolve customer complaints to appropriate management.
- Perform all other job duties as requested by management.
- Previous claims experience helpful.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic communication skills need both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and accomplish goals.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands and fingers and move
- Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the
