Asbury Heights is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in our Personal Care Homes located in Pittsburgh, PA.This position is perfect for nurses seeking a great work-life balance, those looking for supplemental income, or individuals interested in consolidating their hours into a full-time weekend schedule!Position DetailsRole: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Setting: Personal Care Homes within Asbury Heights campus.Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays only.Flexibility: We offer flexible shift options to meet your needs!Shift Options to Fit Your GoalsWe are highly flexible and open to various arrangements, including:Part-Time: Work one single shift (8-12 hours) on both Saturday and Sunday.Full-Time (Weekend Warrior): Work double shifts (16 hours) on both Saturday and Sunday to secure Full-Time hours and benefits (32 hours/week).Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To)Providing exceptional nursing care and medical oversight to residents in our Personal Care Homes.Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.Monitoring, observing, and reporting changes in the resident’s condition to the appropriate staff and/or physician.Documenting all care and observations accurately and timely in the resident's record.Collaborating with the Personal Care Aide team to ensure holistic resident care.Responding to and managing medical emergencies as needed.QualificationsCurrent, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Pennsylvania.Current CPR certification.Experience in geriatric care, long-term care, or assisted living/personal care is preferred, but all compassionate nurses are encouraged to apply!A strong commitment to person-centered care and resident well-being.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Why Join Asbury Heights?Asbury Heights is a respected continuing care retirement community (CCRC) with a long history of serving the Pittsburgh area.
