Nestled in a beautiful wooded hilltop setting just outside of Pittsburgh, we seek to enrich the lives of older adults through a supportive and engaging environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personalized Living Manager to oversee the overnight operations and ensure the highest quality of personalized care for our residents during this critical shift.
Position Summary
The Personalized Living Manager is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of our community during the overnight shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Friday - Sunday). This leadership role ensures that all resident needs are met, care plans are followed, and the community maintains a safe, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere, even during non-traditional hours. This position requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep commitment to resident well-being and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care Oversight: Ensure all personalized care plans are implemented and followed accurately throughout the night, addressing any changes in resident condition promptly and effectively.
Safety and Security: Be the primary contact for all emergency situations, responding calmly and professionally. Ensure the facility adheres to all safety, security, and regulatory compliance standards.
Essential Housekeeping: Oversee and perform general housekeeping duties during the slower overnight hours. This includes managing and completing all building laundry, ensuring main bathrooms are clean and stocked, and thoroughly cleaning common areas nightly.
Communication: Facilitate clear and concise communication with the day-shift team, documenting all incidents, changes, and important information in resident records and communication logs.
Problem-Solving: Manage and resolve any resident, family, or staff concerns that arise during the overnight hours.
Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all operations are in full compliance.
Resident Engagement (as appropriate for shift): Foster a positive atmosphere and respond to resident needs with empathy and respect, ensuring a dignified living experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Must be willing and able to perform essential housekeeping tasks as part of the overnight routine.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make quick, informed decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff.
Must be reliable and committed to working the designated overnight shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
