Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently using proper food running techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure proper food safety procedures are followed during all stages of service and handling
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate guest needs and uphold high standards of guest service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for providing excellent in-person customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Must have weekend availability including Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday
