Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Support bartenders with drink preparation and serving during busy periods.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of food handling.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for processing orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or banquets.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or barbacking within a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Must possess strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy atmosphere.
