Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming shifts and special events
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout your shift
- Assist with catering orders and special event preparations as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery
Skills
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
