Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including powertrain, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and alignment machines to execute repairs efficiently.
- Service various vehicle components such as brakes, suspension, steering, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to ensure precise repairs.
- Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing vehicle conditions and recommending necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed in compliance with dealership standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, and transmissions.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid certifications related to automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred.
