Position Qualifications
- Current or recent experience in Hospice is required
- Graduate of an approved medical school is required
- Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited in area of specialty program is required
- Board Certified/Eligible in area of specialty by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME)
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
- Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
