Family Medicine Physician Opportunity
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Asante is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Medford at Barnett Family Medicine. The incoming provider will collaborate with a team of six physicians, two advanced practice providers (APPs), and a well-established support staff. Responsibilities include conducting patient histories, performing physical examinations, and developing treatment plans. The provider will play an active role in patient care management by coordinating diagnostic procedures, writing medical orders, and identifying the need for specialty consultations. Additional duties include triaging and responding to patient calls in partnership with the physician team.
Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program.
Licensure: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association; Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties; Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
