Position Summary
The Manager of Facilities and Safety Officer ARRMC &AACH provides leadership and vision for the facilities operations at the Asante Hospital Rogue Regional Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital. This position assists the System Facilities and Security Director in managing the Plant Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Energy and Utilities Management, Service Contracts, Grounds Maintenance, and Construction Management at these sites. In addition, this position will be a vital role in participating in the Environmental Safety processes including acting as the on-site Safety Officer at both sites. The nature of this position requires observation of safety hazards and maintenance of a safe work environment associated guidelines. A working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, UFC, DEQ, EPA, OAR and DNV are critical to this role. Reports to The Systems Facilities and Security Director. Direct Reports – Supervisor of Facilities ARRMC and Supervisor of Facilities AACH.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- 5 – 7 years of progressive leadership experience at a Manager Level or above with evidence of operational excellence and innovation, the ability to lead teams, and demonstrative skills in facilities personnel management and communication with other departments and with administration.
- Consideration will be given for at least 10 years of experience at a supervisor level and certifications in one or more trade area.
- ODL Possession of valid Oregon Driver’s License with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years and proof of insurance.
Education
- Associate’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or similar related degree.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
