The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Certified Medical Lab Technician (MLT) performs clinical laboratory tests and procedures, interprets and reports test results accurately to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment. Asante performs more than two million lab tests per year. The Laboratory at ARRMC features Total Lab Automation, Epic Beaker LIS, AU5800, DXI, DXH 900, Cellavision, Iriscell, Top 750, Bactec, and Cobas Molecular Platform. CAP accredited and AABB certified.
MLS Requirements: Bachelor degree in Laboratory Sciences. MLS(ASCP) or equivalent, or eligible within 6 months of hire. Salary: $36.79-$50.60/hr. Differentials: $1.96 swing, $4.25 nights, $1.82 weekends.
MLT Requirements: Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory. MLT(ASCP) within 6 months. Salary: $28.93-$39.79/hr. Differentials: $1.62 swing, $3.00 nights, $1.43 weekends.
