The Medical Assistant assists medical providers and works closely with patients in preparation for examination to provide medical care. Performs routine tests, maintains and inventories medical supplies, assists the front office, surgery scheduling, and medical records team as needed. Manages the in-basket, enters ancillary service orders and computerized provider order entries (CPOE).

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. BLS from AHA required. Non-Certified: must obtain CCMA, NCMA, CMA, RMA, or CMAC within 6 months of hire.

Salary: Non-Certified $20.53-$28.23/hr; Certified $21.86-$30.07/hr.
