What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP BOBJ System Admin position at Asamanta Technologies LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY
- The System Administrator is responsible for the technical build, ongoing support and operations of the applications – SAP BOBJ, BODS and Info steward
- Provides admin support to the implementation of new products, upgrades and migrations and is responsible for the system performance tuning, high availability, backup, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
- Administration and monitoring of applications, ORACLE db, MSQL Server
- Partner with other Sabre teams for successful implementations including Change and Release Management, Enterprise Architecture, Risk and Compliance, etc.
- Define and apply best practices for these solutions and communicate them to the user and development teams
- Maintain expertise in current application solution capabilities and understand future technology and practice roadmaps
- Works with minimum supervision and self-maintains skills and knowledge
- Highly flexible and ability to work in a fast pace environment
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 10 years of hands on experience managing analytics tools with Operation support and Implementation
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on OS Administration
- Experience with networking, virtualization and cloud infrastructure, AWS and GCP
- Hands on experience with BOBJ, BODS, Info steward, and MS-SQL database
- Exemplary troubleshooting and ability to drive root cause analysis on incidents and problems
- Excellent working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM service management practices, specifically incident management, change management and problem management
- Minimum Bachelors in Technology field
