What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foundry Training Coordinator position at Asama Coldwater Manufacturing, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuously maintaining proper training methods for new associates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Help develop different achieved levels of skill within the department training matrix.
· Develop training outlines for associates.
· Building a training program based on a new associate that has no prior experience in a production setting.
· Compile a training matrix by associate with categorization of skill levels.
· Lead, plan and perform hands on training with all new associates.
· Develop a refresher training program to maintain training.
· Develop training outlines for advanced operator (e.g., changeovers, troubleshooting).
· Complete the evaluation of associates training and skill levels achieved.
· Work with department leadership to establish training guidelines for each associate and their level of training.
· Coordinate with HR the training records of each associate (Original records reside with HR in personnel file.)
· Maintain up to date training methods and standards on all new product lines.
· Adhere to all relevant TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures including internal process auditing.
· Secure resources, space, material necessary for the training of new associates.
· Assist engineering with ideas for improvements and troubleshooting of lines.
· Assist in quality improvements: building quality into our production process.
· Lead all department continuous improvement activities including circle and suggestion activity.
· Fill in for production and lead changeover activity when necessary
Education
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience
Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes
Above average oral and written Communication
Good Presentation to large groups
Ability to work with a wide range of associates with different levels of skill, one on one

Pay: $58,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
