Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately.
- Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling sales at the end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos.
- Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
- Demonstrate product features through engaging demos when appropriate, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries.
- Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus!
- Excellent retail math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently.
- Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales transactions.
- Customer service expertise with a friendly demeanor, active listening skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
