Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Associate to join our team at Auburn University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative social science research, focusing on survey research, rural and farm quality of life, and farm business management decision-making.
Key Requirements
- Earned Ph.D. in sociology, rural sociology, demography, agricultural economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Excellent command of quantitative software (e.g., STATA, R, Python)
- Ability to work with large amounts of quantitative data
- Experience working on survey design
- Previous involvement in the creation of Extension and outreach products
About the Position
This is a benefit-eligible, non-tenure track position with a possibility of extension to one or more years, depending on performance and funding availability.
