Job Summary
Join Artesia Springs’ bottled-water production team! We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working with machinery, and contributing to a team.
As a Production Associate, you will help operate bottling and packaging equipment, maintain sanitation standards, and check product quality. Your work will help keep our production process safe, clean, and efficient.
No prior experience is required—we provide training. Manufacturing, warehouse, or food and beverage production experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling machinery and packaging equipment after training, following safety procedures and quality standards.
- Supply bottles, caps, labels, and packaging materials to the production line.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation according to established food-safety procedures, including HACCP principles and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Inspect products for proper filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging, and report quality concerns.
- Identify and report equipment issues; assist with basic troubleshooting and adjustments within your training and authorization.
- Pack cases, stack products, and help prepare finished orders.
- Move materials safely using proper lifting techniques and material-handling equipment. Operate forklifts only after required training and authorization.
- Complete production records, sanitation logs, and assigned inspection checklists accurately.
- Follow procedures for safe chemical handling and use required personal protective equipment.
- Work with teammates to meet production goals and maintain an organized work area.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- A background check is required as part of the hiring process.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and follow operating, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning production equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math for counts, measurements, and quality checks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate equipment or product concerns.
- Comfortable with standing, repetitive tasks, and moving products in a production environment.
- Prior manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or forklift experience is helpful but not required.
