Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine and safe
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards
- Use industrial cleaning equipment when necessary to tackle larger or more challenging cleaning projects efficiently
- Follow established hospitality and custodial procedures to deliver consistent quality service in a welcoming manner
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks by reporting maintenance issues or supply needs promptly to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all cleaning activities
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on hospitality or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation for various flooring types
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred, demonstrating an understanding of guest service standards
