Arxada is looking for an Facilities Coordinator located in our Conley, GA office. This position will coordinate activities in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds.
Key responsibilities:
Perform and direct contractors engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
Resolves work problems, or assists technicians in solving work problems and diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies
Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
Confers with department managers to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Key requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in maintenance technology or related degree preferred.
5 years of experience in building maintenance or related maintenance or technical experiences
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
