Arvine is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is crucial for ensuring that every aspect of our food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As a Prep Cook at Arvine, you will be at the heart of our culinary operations, setting the stage for exceptional dining experiences by prepping food for service, organizing our walk-ins and dry storage, and upholding our culinary standards.

Position Requirements:

  • Kitchen Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen prep role is preferred, showcasing a foundation in culinary techniques and food preparation.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to efficiently organize and manage the walk-in cooler, dry storage, and prep areas, ensuring ingredients are stocked, rotated, and accessible.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to the perfect execution of recipes and preparation standards, with a keen eye for quality and precision.
  • Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Team Player: Strong ability to work cooperatively with the rest of the culinary team, supporting the needs of the line cooks and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
  • Efficiency: Capable of working quickly and effectively under pressure, ensuring that prep work is completed in a timely manner for service.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support the kitchen’s operations.
