Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Credential: Clear or Preliminary Single Subject Credential • Education: Bachelor's degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. • Experience: Student teaching (8 semester hours or 180 clock hours) or two years of full-time classroom teaching experience. • OR Eligibility for: Provisional Internship Permit (PIP); Short Term Staff Permit (STSP), University or District Intern. • Personal Qualities: Ability to meet district standards for physical and mental health. Better than average recommendations from student teaching supervisors or other professionals who have observed the personal characteristics, scholastic attainment, and classroom performance of the teacher.
