- Communicate directly with borrowers, contractors, and internal teams to gather clarifications or missing documentation.
- Maintain updated project budgets, track progress, and flag discrepancies or risks.
- Work closely with the wire team to ensure approved draws are processed quickly and accurately.
- Build strong borrower relationships through fast turnaround, clear communication, and proactive follow-up.
- Maintain organized documentation for each project including budgets, scopes of work, photos, invoices, and change orders.
- Assist in improving internal draw workflows, processes, and reporting systems.
- Attend monthly in-person team meetings in San Diego.
Qualifications
Required:
- Interest in construction fund control, construction loan administration, draw management, project coordination, or similar.
- Strong understanding of residential construction budgets, scopes, phases, and cost breakdowns.

- Exceptional attention to detail with a high sense of urgency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of daily draw reviews with accuracy and consistency.
- Must be located in Southern California and able to attend monthly meetings in San Diego.
Preferred:
- Experience in private lending, hard money lending, or real estate finance.
- Prior experience communicating with borrowers, GCs, or project managers.
- Familiarity with project management or draw management systems (e.g., Fund Control, Land Gorilla, Trustpoint, processes, etc.).
Who You Are
