Position Summary
We are seeking a precise, high-integrity Funding & Draw Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of our loan disbursements. This role is the final gatekeeper of our capital, responsible for verifying the accuracy of construction draw requests, cross-checking wire instructions to prevent fraud, and executing high-volume funding across our portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where "details are everything" and accuracy is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw Management: Review and process construction draw requests, ensuring all required documentation (inspections, lien waivers, invoices) is present and approved before release.
- Wire Execution: Facilitate and monitor the movement of funds via banking portals; queue, verify, and release domestic wires with 100% accuracy.
- Data Verification: Cross-check wire instructions and banking coordinates to mitigate fraud risk; perform "call-backs" and secondary authorizations as required.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all funding conditions have been met per the loan agreement and company policy prior to disbursement.
- Reporting & Balancing: Maintain daily funding logs and reconcile outgoing wires with our internal Loan Origination System (LOS) to ensure all files are balanced.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for title companies, settlement agents, and borrowers regarding funding status and wire confirmations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 years in mortgage funding, construction draw processing, or treasury operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with banking portals and Loan Origination Systems (LOS). Strong Excel skills are a must.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for discrepancies in financial data and legal documents.
- Fraud Awareness: Knowledge of wire fraud prevention protocols and secure payment practices.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external partners under tight deadlines.
- Integrity: Comfortable handling high-dollar transactions with absolute transparency and adherence to protocol.
