Responsibilities
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and provide menus promptly
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff
- Provide attentive guest service throughout their visit, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
- Support serving staff by delivering food and beverages when needed, demonstrating teamwork and hospitality excellence
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
