WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Claims Quality and Compliance Manager will lead our claims quality assurance and compliance initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that claim files are handled with accuracy and consistency, and that company practices align with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and carrier expectations.
The role will initially focus on individual contributions in training, auditing, and compliance oversight, and have the capacity to evolve into a people leadership position managing direct reports as our claims organization grows. Duties include, but are not limited to:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Claims Quality and Compliance Manager will lead our claims quality assurance and compliance initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that claim files are handled with accuracy and consistency, and that company practices align with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and carrier expectations.
The role will initially focus on individual contributions in training, auditing, and compliance oversight, and have the capacity to evolve into a people leadership position managing direct reports as our claims organization grows. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Quality Assurance
- Perform regular audits of claim files to assess accuracy, timeliness, documentation, and policy compliance.
- Track and analyze audit results, providing feedback and coaching to adjusters.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards that highlight performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend, implement, and make ongoing improvements to claims best practices.
- Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and build targeted learning solutions
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and carrier guidelines.
- Develop and update compliance training modules for staff.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance questions and escalations.
- Ensure processes are documented and updated to reflect regulatory and policy changes.
- Develop training materials, job aids, and process guides to ensure consistency
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of claims handling experience, preferably in property, casualty, or agricultural lines.
- 3 years of experience in claims compliance, quality assurance, or training.
- Strong understanding of claims best practices, regulatory requirements, and carrier expectations.
- Proficiency with claims management systems and audit/reporting tools.
- Able to teach, mentor, and develop others.
- Skilled at identifying trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledgeable about compliance frameworks impacting claims.
- Works collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Execute role with exceptional thoroughness, accuracy, personal organization, time management, and documentation skills.
- Perform with a high level of polish and professionalism in all spoken and written communications, addressing all interactions tactfully.
- Complete all duties with a sense of urgency, thoroughness, and accuracy, recognizing that how we work and interact with others is just as important as what we do
Adherence to remote-work standards is required, which includes but is not limited to:
- Maintain a professional home-office set-up with desk, chair, and space to work. (technical equipment provided)
- Have reliable high-speed internet.
- Ensure office space is an enclosed, separate, non-shared room free from distractions, including members of the household or pets.
- Must be willing and able to work either EASTERN or CENTRAL business hours (8-5)
