Position Overview:
Are you ready to make an impact and be part of something big? We are looking for a Buyer II who can step in and make an immediate impact. This role sits at the center of our operations, supporting production, managing inventory, and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed.
You will balance day-to-day execution with strategic thinking by making smart purchasing decisions, working closely with vendors, and leveraging data to anticipate demand.
What You’ll Bring:
You bring experience in purchasing or procurement and understand how inventory, vendors, and production all connect. You are comfortable working in an ERP system and can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
At a high level, we are looking for someone who can:
- Navigate ERP systems such as NetSuite for purchasing and inventory management
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing and timelines
- Analyze data and trends to support buying decisions and forecasting
- Stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly across teams and take ownership of your work
What You’ll Be Doing:
This role is a mix of execution and strategy. On the day-to-day side, you will manage purchasing activity and ensure inventory aligns with production needs. Long-term, you will help drive improvements in cost, efficiency, and processes.
Key areas of focus include:
- Purchasing and inventory management, including issuing purchase orders and managing reorder points
- Vendor management, including evaluating performance and negotiating terms
- ERP and data management, including maintaining item, vendor, and BOM data in NetSuite
- Analysis and planning, including cost analysis and inventory performance tracking
- Cross-functional support with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred
- Experience working in ERP systems, NetSuite strongly preferred
- Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse operations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
